The world of work is rapidly changing. Current trends in the labor market include: the increasing minimum wage; incorporation of automation and artificial intelligence into more facets of the workplace; social media’s pervasive presence in business; and the growing gig economy. What does this mean for workforce providers, job seekers, and employers? Join WPTI, for a half-day session that will bring together subject matter experts, workforce practitioners, job seekers, and employers to discuss these changes and identify ways to adapt to these new trends.
Participants will walk away with:
- Knowledge of the current trends and how workplaces are changes;
- Information on the impact to job seekers, employers, and organizations; and
- Action items to take back to their programs, job searches, and businesses.
